MRT Continues to Socialize Use of Masks for its Customers

PT MRT Jakarta continues to urge the public to always wear masks when engaged in activities outside the home and in particular when entering station and using MRT Jakarta services.

They are also strongly suggested to wear washable two-layer cloth masks and not the medical masks prioritized for medical workers.

PT MRT Jakarta President Director William Sabandar said the socialization about the use of masks runs well. It will be intensified up to April 11 and will be implemented on April 12.

"We have implemented several policies to stop the spread of COVID-19 transmission. Since March 16, we have limited the operational time, headway time, passenger numbers in which we only serve 60 people per car, including the use of masks," he expressed, Wednesday (4/8).

His party supports the city's decision about the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in the capital that will be effective on April 10. By so, the MRT services would only operate at 6 AM to 6 PM.

"Nevertheless we remain give the best services for our customer," he closed.
